Château La Renaudie – Les Vieilles Vignes – 2016
Pecharmant

France,
Sud Ouest,
Inky dark core and a lighter hue, still a purple presence. The nose offers, ripe dark fruit, plum, cassis, cherry and fine tobacco with mild oak underneath. Dense palate, plenty of fine tannin, sweet and ripe fruit flavours with a slight touch of toast from the oak, balanced with a refreshing herbaceous spiciness, some bay leaf and sage notes leading to a long and lingering finish.
