France,
Bordeaux,
Red wine with a youthful appearance. Quite dark ruby red. The nose starts out quite spicy, with some hints of anise seed, liquorice, some leather and fresh wild berries. Palate has medium weight, quite youthful, still with pronounced tannins. There is some notes of leather and a lot of that dry spiciness, such as pepper and anise seed. Medium weight, but with quite a high extract. Medium towards long finish. At present, it still appears a bit youthful. It should certainly deserve a few more years in the cellar to gain some roundness and harmony. None the less it is well built. It should have the concentration and balance to go on for quite many years.
