Château La Verrerie – Grand Deffand – 2015

Bright dark purple colour. Pure nose with lavender, violet, blackberry and plum notes with some lightly roasted oak. The palate is ample and dense with a fresh backbone, floral dark fruit flavours and a sweet spiciness, and a long and vigorous finish. Nicely done.
