Intense inky purple colour. Youthful nose offering ripe dark berries, plum, some new oak and dry spices. The palate is still youthful on the extracted side, high tannin, some oak flavours, fresh dark fruit and mild spices. The finish is still tight and restrained with pronounced tannin but it should develop well over the coming years.
