Château La Villatade – Côtes Noires Réserve – 2016

Inky dark core and ruby towards the rim. The nose shows new oak and smoked meat notes with ripe dark berries. The palate has some maturity, rather austere with firm tannin, marked by toasted oak and smoke, dense and long but a bit dry and restrained.
