Inky dark colour with a purple hue. Some new oak notes, ripe dark fruit, liquorice, cassis, sweet plum and tobacco. Still a youthful and dense palate, rather massive but balanced tannin and extract, good layers of fruit, long and lingering finish. A big wine needing time to soften and develop fully.
