Château Lagrange – Emeraude – 2020

Inky dark purple core and hue. Violet, ripe dark cherry and cassis with a mild spiciness. Very dense and concentrated palate, still youthful and restrained but no hard edges, layers of exuberant and floral dark fruit with a very long and meaty finish. Fine material but needing some more ageing to open, drink from 2024.
