Dark purple colour. Generous oak on the nose, sweet fruit, cassis and pepper. The palate is still youthful and restrained, new oak and vanilla flavours, fresh red berry notes, high acidity, youthful texture and a rather long finish. Well-made but still needing some time to soften and shed the oak.
