Inky dark purple colour. Intense nose offering some new oak and toast with ripe dark fruit - cherry, blackberry, smoked meat and liquorice. Ample palate with a high ripeness, layers of peppery dark fruit with meaty notes, some presence of new oak, still a slight tannic bite but should soften with age, long and muscular finish. Drink from 2024.
