Medium deep ruby red colour. Youthful nose offering some new oak, tobacco, dried herbs, sage, cassis and red berries. Dense palate with high tannin and extract, savoury red fruit and fine spice notes. Good grip and length, fine potential. A classic style made for long ageing, a bit firm now, but should develop nicely.
