Château Larrivet Haut Brion – 2008

Quite rich oak on the nose, roasted with hints of vanilla and very ripe tropical fruit character, bold, viscous and ripe palate, very full with rather mellow acidity yet the sensation of freshness, quite majestic and bold - just a touch too dominated by the oak at present.
