France,
Bordeaux,
Dark ruby colour with a purple hue. Pure, ripe and aromatic nose with sage, bay leaf, ripe dark berries, plum and cassis with discreet oak in the background. Dense and youthful palate yet with polished texture, ripe tannin, crushed dark berry flavours with some oak, vanilla and butterscotch, balanced proportions and a vital acidity with a long and dense finish. Still youthful but no hard edges and fine potential.
