France,
Bordeaux,
Quite intense colour here, dark ruby-red with a slightly lighter rim. Quite intense nose. Very perfumed. Quite elegant here, with floral notes. There is also a hint of earth, black truffle, with the sweet red berries, almost with a hint of confiture, raspberry, strawberry. Quite layered with a really mild spiciness and discreet oak. Very good grip on the palate. High density, high concentration of fruit. Still quite mild extract. There is quite grainy tannin there, giving a lift to the palate. Balanced acidity as well. Really lushes and juicy sweet red fruit. Some floral hints there of violet, rose petal, with a mild spiciness. Really persistent and lingering with a fine integration of oak. Long and juicy finish. Still a bit youthful, in terms of evolution and complexity. It really has all of the qualities to develop with grace.
