Château Le Grand Moulin – 2014

Medium towards deep, still very youthful blue-purple colour. Quite perfumed; despite its youth it’s showing a wealth of wild berry fruit like raspberry, blackberry, a slight mineral hint. Fresh palate with medium weight, youthful acidity; youthful but fine tannins, quite grainy with layers of that red and dark fruit. Still very youthful, a bit unresolved with a slightly restrained finish, but it has the purity of fruit and the length to develop, I would say. Quite elegant style, with an emphasis on fruit rather than élevage.
