Blaye Cotes de Bordeaux

France,
Bordeaux,
Quite dense core ruby-red there, still appearing rather youthful quite viscous colour in the glass. Fresh nose predominately fruity there, with layers of wild berries, plum; not so much oak to talk about. Some slightly herbal, spice characters. Medium weight on the palate. Quite subtle already, it feels rather youthful, but quite delicious fruit there. Juicy dark berries - blackberry, plum. With grainy tannin, good degree of freshness. Already feels quite rounded and complete with a medium towards long finish. So nice drinkability on this one.
