France,
Bordeaux,
Medium deep, quite youthful, ruby-purple colour. Youthful nose. Attractive, with dark berry fruit, cassis, plum. Gentle hint of roasted oak. A touch of leather as well, fresh tobacco. There is a medium weight on the palate, with attractive juicy fruit. Dark berries with a good level of acidity. Still quite youthful in terms of extract. There is still very present tannin. Slightly dry sensation. However it is a youthful wine and it should integrate in the coming few years. Mild spiciness, some herbal notes on the finish. Slight touch of wood as well. Medium weight but slightly longer on the finish. Still lost for some time. But I would say this is something that should preferably be put back in the cellar for one to two years to open up and soften a little bit and then it should have quite a few years ahead of it.
