Dark garnet with a purple hue. Youthful nose offering new oak, more wood than toast with wild berries, sweet plum and dry spice aromas. Dense palate, still a bit restrained with a firm tannic bite and wood flavours dominating the fruit at present, good structure and length, needing time to open, should develop.
