France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
White wine with a light golden nuance, still appearing rather youthful, slight green hue. Pure nose; modern vinification with primary fruit here, quite aromatic variety, feels like Viognier, with that lush stone fruit, some floral notes, apricot and some finely spicy notes. No oak to talk about. The palate has medium weight, it has a slight element of bitterness like citrus zest. Quite lush fruit, with a mellow acidity, quite rounded with a good mouthful of that yellow fruit. Medium weight and medium length, rather light and rounded finish; a wine made in an accessible style, for early consumption.
