Château Les Mailleries – Mon Essentiel – 2019

Light to medium golden colour. The nose is aromatic and intense with grapefruit, ripe citrus and some new oak and toasted notes. Ripe and opulent palate, still a bit marked by oak but with nice layers of fruit, a rounded texture yet with a nice vein of acidity and a long warm finish. An ambitious wine needing more time in the cellar.
