France,
Bordeaux,
Youthful colour here, still a lot of blue-purple, medium towards deep. Very nice nose here, a lot of freshness and a lot of ripeness. Dark inky fruits such as; blackberry, cassis, with dark plum. There is a slight hint of dried spices. Just a fine hint of oak in the background. Also with a floral component like violet. Really good grip on the palate. The wine has a lot of substance, with really lushes before mentioned fruit. There is a great deal of extract as well. I think it is already quite polished in terms of tannin. In the coming year, this will be very open and charming I would say. The tannin gives a good lift to the palate. Some hints of cocoa powder, bitter chocolate. Well-defined freshness as well. Long and lingering finish. With a fine spiciness. Delicious dark fruit and also with a slight mineral presence I would say. So it is a concentrated wine with lots of lushness. But it still has that freshness and bite on the finish. I really like it.
