Château L’Escadre – Major – 2011

Dense dark ruby/purple colour. Youthful nose, rather extracted with some ethereal notes, dark fruit - plum, cassis, blackberry and new oak. The palate is muscular and dense with layers of dark fruit, high but balanced tannin, very long, dense finish, still a monolithic wine but with fine potential for development.
