Château L’Escarelle – Croix d’Engardin – 2016

Dense garnet colour. Intense nose offering some new oak and smoke with ripe red and dark fruit, liquorice and pepper. Ample palate, a slight presence of extraction with firm tannin, yet sweet and spicy fruit flavours and truffle, good length and volume, hould need to open for another year.
