France,
Bordeaux,
Red wine with a light to medium deep ruby-red colour. Fresh nose quite intense here. With notes of mainly red fruit, plum, red currant, some herbal notes, like fresh herbs, liquorice and quite toned down oak. Quite a classic palate here. I would talk about medium weight, with quite restrained in terms of texture here. Pronounced tannin. Still appearing fairly youthful with high acidity. Then we have some of that herbal spiciness, with some hints of cranberry, red currant. Medium towards long finish. So as I said, more traditional style with a slightly austere texture. That should benefit from another two to three years in the cellar.
