France,
Bordeaux,
Medium deep ruby-red colour. Good brightness still appearing quite youthful. Pure nose. Mostly fruit driven with hints of redcurrants. There is a slight herbal spiciness; touch of mint, then plum and quite gentle hint of oak. Medium weight on the palate. Still quite youthful with present tannin. Fresh acidity. Juicy red fruit there with redcurrant and plum notes. Quite long on the finish. Very discreet wood. A wine that should develop in the short term and open up nicely in the coming one to two years.
