Dark inky colour and hue. Sweet dark fruit and herbal notes on the nose, some balsamic hints and mild oak. The palate shows a bit of extraction and a tannic bite with jammed plum and sweet berries, fairly long finish, but still a bit tight and unresolved with sweet and cooked fruit yet some vegetal and extracted notes. Needs time to soften.
