Château Marojallia – 2011
Margaux
France,
Bordeaux,
Dense and inky colour ruby core and a purple hue. Fine nose, rather modern and fleshy with finely toasted oak, roasted coffee bean, dark berries, cassis, plum and cigar box. The palate has a high concentration, still with a tannic presence but starting to soften, nice layers of dark spicy fruit, fine oak, leather and cocoa bean. Long and grippy finish. It is a flamboyant example starting to be approachable, yet with a good potential for cellaring, considering its density and weight.
