France,
Bordeaux,
Quite youthful colour, slight purple hue. Medium deep, ruby. Pure nose mostly a fruity expression here, with hints of sweet plum, with crushed red and dark berries. No indication of oak really. A mild spiciness with some pepper and a slight hint of vanilla. Palate has a medium weight with a rounded texture. Rather mellow tannin here, youthful, fresh acidity. A bit more tannic sensation on the aftertaste. Nothing harsh or angular. Still just a youthful expression. Attractive sweet fruit here. The finish is quite persistent. This leans more towards the Merlot style I would say. Attractive well-made with good juiciness, good freshness. Well-integrated oak if there is any. Not really noticeable. A wine I prefer to drink fairly youthful to enjoy its freshness.
