Château Monestier La Tour – Cadran – 2018

Inky dark center and a purple hue. A hint of oak and butterscotch with ripe dark berries, crushed plum and cassis. Dense palate, still youthful with a tannic presence, spicy liquorice and dark berry notes with a long dense finish. Ambitious but still needing time to soften, drink from 2022.
