Château Monregard La Croix – 2015

Medium to deep ruby red colour. Very perfumed and fragrant nose with rose petal, violet, sweet red berries and crème de cassis. The palate is dense and concentrated but nicely rounded texture with grainy tannin, notes of cocoa, a fresh acidity underneath and ripe red berries, cherry and a mild spiciness, barely noticeable oak, very expressive fruit and a long lingering finish. Rather Burgundian style, rounded, elegant and perfumed.
