Dark, purple colour; the nose is intense and offers some mineral notes, dark cherry, blackcurrant, plum and fine spice; the palate has good concentration without hard edges, juicy and fresh with elegant dark fruit, very good weight and a long, lingering finish; attractively balanced and highly potent.
