Dense ruby core with a lighter mature rim. Mature nose, leather, tobacco, some new oak, dark fruit and some black truffle. The palate is dense and ambitious, high extract but it feels rounded and mature today, still with vibrant fruit, integrated oak and some complex spiciness, and good length. An ambitious wine approaching maturity.
