Still a very dense and opaque core with a lighter rim; attractive and intense nose, fine oak, vanilla and roasted coffee, a plethora of dark blackcurrant, cherry and plum; the palate is immensely concentrated and dense, very inky fruit; still some roasted flavours, good level of freshness, plenty of tannin and extract, very long muscular finish. Still very youthful - I hope it will soften from further ageing.
