Château Montus – Prestige – 2009

Inky black core with a slightly aged rim. The nose offers some meaty notes with dry spices, layers of inky dark fruit like cassis, blackberry, truffle, smoke and fine oak. Very dense and structured palate, still in a youthful phase but starting to open with savoury dark fruit, well-concealed oak, plentiful tannin and a very long, powerful finish.
