Dark inky core with a purple hue. The nose is intense and modern with new oak, toast, ripe dark berries, cassis, pepper and some meaty notes. Dense and concentrated palate, still with some present oak but nice layers of spicy dark fruit, polished tannin, vigorous with a long muscular finish.
