France,
Bordeaux,
Dense dark ruby core and a tawny rim. Intense, mature and complex nose with mocha, roasted coffee, leather, tobacco, cassis and dark berries with a light smokiness. The palate is full-bodied and concentrated, yet with a rounded and mature texture, grainy tannin, cocoa bean, dried fruit and a fresh acidity underneath. Long, layered and finely spicy finish. Fine maturity and drinkability today.
