Dense ruby core and a mature tawny rim. Mature nose, intense aromas of mocha, leather, tobacco, sweet fruit, a hint of oak, spice box and black truffle. The palate is full but starting to soften, still a tannic presence and fine secondary flavours of sweet and dried fruit with some earthy truffle notes and a long layered finish.
