Medium to deep ruby red colour. Fragrant nose, some new oak, butterscotch and vanilla with plum, cassis and crushed berries. The palate is dense and chewy, youthful but with ripe tannin and fresh dark fruit, fine tobacco notes and long persistency. It will improve but appears fairly accessible today.
