Medium towards deep ruby red, there’s a hint of blue-purple at the core. Youthful nose, showing some roasted notes, a little hint of oak; a slight whiff of vanilla with dark plum and a dark fruit character. Palate has medium weight, a bit more; quite good density. Still with a youthful extract. There’s a hint of underlying wood here, and those juicy dark berries, with notes of plum. There’s some pepperiness, some hints of garrigue or bouquet garni adding a certain level of freshness to it. Aftertaste has a nice fruitiness, still with a hint of tannin, that herbal spiciness, and a medium length.
