France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
Quite intense colour, purple core. Very youthful nose. Almost like freshly fermented wine with some floral notes, dark plum, violet, dark berries. No evident oak. Slight hint of herbal spiciness like garni bouquet garni. Nicely made on the palate. It is clearly a very young wine, but it is nicely rounded in terms of texture. Well-rounded, rather mellow tannins, well-preserved acidity. Dark purple fruit like blackberry. Good level of drinkability. Medium towards long finish. In terms of weight it is somewhere in that medium range, but with a good juiciness, good fruitiness and already presents itself pretty well.
