Medium to deep garnet core and hue. Youthful and ripe nose displaying darker fruit notes, sweet plum, cassis, cherry, tobacco, wild herbs and a light touch of toasted oak. Ample with good volume, still youthful but good degree of polish and rounded tannin, a gentle hint of oak-derived butterscotch yet dominated by ample dark fruit, meaty and spicy finish with promising persistency.
