France,
Bordeaux,
Medium deep, ruby-red colour. Fine nose combining sweet red fruit, some new oak. Some creamy notes of vanilla and butter. Also a slight mineral sensation I would say. Very youthful palate. It is still appearing a bit tight with quite a high level of tannin and extract. Fresh acidity as well. Beneath that there is juicy red fruit, more like sweet raspberry, red plum. There are some influences from the oak as well, like vanilla, some gentle roasted notes. I think this would fall in the medium body frame. With a quite long finish. Elegant fruit. It appears a bit angular now due to that quite high extract. I think the tannins would need some more time to integrate and round off the edges. It should probably develop quite well.
