Château Pomeaux – 2006

Medium deep ruby red with a mature rim. Intense and mature nose offering wet tobacco, dry spices, rose petal, sweet blackberry and kirsch. The palate shows good volume with layers of finely spicy and sweet fruit, still a gentle tannic backbone but having reached a fine drinkability and maturity, supple and elegant with a long and nuanced finish.
