Château Prieuré La Marzelle – 2011

Intense and dark core with a slightly mature rim. Intense nose offering sun ripe fruit, blackberry, jammed plum and cassis with new oak and sweet spices. Ambitious and structured, starting to loosen its tannic grip, still with some oaky presence, ripe dark fruit notes and a long firm finish. Could still improve and soften.
