France,
Bordeaux,
Youthful colour, slightly still with a purple hue. Fine nose. Youthful with charming fruit. Good level of ripeness here, combining red and dark fruit. Quite perfumed with hints of cassis, violet. Mild oakiness. Fine palate, with quite a lot of weight here. But I think the texture is nicely loosely structured. There is a good bite and freshness. Tannins are already starting to integrate. So it doesn’t leave any harsh or dry impression. Very juicy and succulent fruit. High ripeness. Still a good level of acidity with very aromatic and flavour intense, I would say. Hint of cassis, dark plum, gentle spiciness. Good length. Starts to be approachable today, I would say, but should easily continue to develop for five, six, seven years depending on what style you like. Pretty tasty already.
