Château Puy Barbey – 2015

Dark inky purple core. Intense and modern nose offering new oak, vanilla, sweet spices and layers of ripe dark fruit with some smoky and meaty notes. Nicely dense palate with grainy tannin, a fresh backbone, sweet, spicy and smoky dark fruit with crushed blackberry notes and a long lingering finish.
