France,
Bordeaux,
Red wine with a very dense core, but the rim, it seems, is staring to lose some colour so a certain evolution for sure. Very intense nose, definitely showing more maturity and evolution. There is a good deal of complexity there with quite sweet fruit, wild berries, paired with some leather and tobacco, fine spices. Quite intense, almost with a hint of black truffle. Palate is mid-weight, well a bit more actually, a good concentration of fruit. Nice lushes dark plum, with wild berry fruit. Still with a tanninic presence. The nose smelt a little more developed then the palate. It still has that young and vigorous texture. Good material there in terms of freshness, long finish starting to open up. I really liked the complexity on the nose, but taste-wise it could still be aged for a few more years.
