Château Puynard – The Steps – 2022

Inky dark purple almost black core and hue. Pure nose offering high ripeness of fruit - cassis, black cherry and plum with tobacco leaf and mild oak. The palate is youthful and dense, still with some extraction and tannic presence but fine material needing some more time, good purity and ripeness with a fresh backbone and fine length.
