Dense dark purple core. Fresh nose, still youthful with a gentle hint of oak, leather, ripe dark fruit, cassis and plum. The palate is on the fuller side, still a bit tight with a tannic bite but nice dark fruit, crushed plum flavours and a fairly long finish.
