Inky dark purple colour. Fragrant nose offering violet, blackberry, cassis, chalk and fine toast. The palate shows a nice degree of density and weight, still on the youthful side but with ripe yet present tannin. Layers of floral dark fruit with fine nuance and a long lingering finish.
