France,
Bordeaux,
Medium deep - quite deep - core here, ruby red with a slight evolution on the rim. Fine nose here, some notes of leather, some hints of roasted wood, vanilla; rather on the dark fruity side with plum, cassis. Good grip on the palate, quite good level of concentration here, without hardness. I think the extract is already finely integrated, but we still have a good lift from that tannic freshness. Medium high acidity and rather opulent ripe dark fruit with a fine integration of wood. Good density of fruit, medium extract and a long finish. Ripe and modern style, still with a certain freshness and elegance; well-made, perfectly drinkable today, but with a potential for further evolution as well.
